Weather: good

The weather was great and the usual die hards were hanging out on hopes of a sea breeze in the hazy conditions Steve S was a tiny dot on the North Sea whilst we deliberated shall we shall we. 8 mph was on the meter and at 100Kg I should have gone home, but Coles flew off on 11M formula so it was game on.
Mark had 1/2 planing and I had about an hour, but Andy and Coles planed all afternoon and were pretty quick. It was very noticeable when accellerating after a manouvre how quick they left me until I was up on the plane.
I really dont like 11M sails, they are so heavy, awkward, and if you drop one its awful (u boys know that from the pub days!). After hitting the lobster lines twice my boom slipped to my knees trying to uphaul the sail.
It was a perfect formula day but no good for freeriders un less u were light as (mark)or had big sails.
